Peshkar Productions - 25th Anniversary Exhibition
On the 9th January, Peshkar opened an exhibition in the foyer of Gallery Oldham celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the organisation. The exhibition has been curated by Rik Loughran and features 25 artefacts from Peshkar’s history, each telling an important piece of the story of the growth of the organisation from a grassroots project based in Werneth Park Music Rooms to our fantastic visit to Parliament in 2015.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a programme of engagement work taking place in schools and with community groups throughout the Oldham area in the next few months exploring some of the key themes of important projects in the life of Peshkar.
You can visit the exhibition at Gallery Oldham until the 10th February so please drop by and let us know what you think and if you have any stories from your experiences with Peshkar.
This project has been kindly supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
